BT web-enable a process for customers to process debtor finance (invoice factoring)

For some years, Bank of Ireland had been providing its customers with the ability to access an application processing debtor finance (invoice factoring). However, the method of access was not easy. This required customers to dial in directly to the system and only allowed very limited functionality. For example, customers could not print off transaction details.
With the help of BT, the application was web-enabled. This has brought about great changes for the customers as all they need to do to access their details is to register with Bank of Ireland and have a PC with access to the Internet. The speed and reliability of the system has improved tremendously and functionality has been enhanced. By hosting the solution in the BT Data Centre, all security issues are covered and customer information is protected via enhanced security encryption and firewall protection. By using BT, Bank of Ireland can now offer an enhanced service to its customers, providing accessibility, reliability and security.
